2021-2023 In Colors for Stampin' Up!

The 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue is just around the corner, and with it are new In Colors! Every year I put together a graphic comparing the colours to other Stampin' Up colours to help give an idea of what they will be like to use. For the most part I try to use more recent colours, but sometimes the most similar colour will be a very old one, or an old colour will provide a better balance to the comparisons. Without further ado, here are the 5 new In Colors for 2021-2023!

These comparisons come with the caveat that colours will look a bit different across different devices, but they are better than nothing till the colours get into your hands. The new catalogue goes live May 4th, so less than a month to wait!

Stampin' Up! 2019-2021 In Colors

Let's not mince words... it's been a while. I've been wanting to revive this off & on for some time, but sorting out the whole Photobucket mess has put me off. But if I don't just start it'll never get done. Sidestepping the Photobucket situation for now, and just getting into the reason for this post. The new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue was unveiled at the recent On Stage event, and with it the new In Colors were revealed. Time for some comparisons with past and present Stampin' Up! colours to give you a better feel for how they will look until you can get them into your own hands!

I'm so looking forward to using these, particularly Purple Posy of course hehehehe. The Annual Catalogue goes live on June 4th, and then everyone can share in the joy of these lovely new colours

2016-2018 In Colors

While I can't show a lot from the new catalogue just yet, I can share things from OnStage local. Getting to see the new catalogue is always an exciting thing, but probably the thing I look forward to the most is getting my hands on the new In Colors. This year I was more excited than ever as they had given demonstrators a sneak peek via a video showing the bag we would receive at OnStage that featured the new colours. We could see there was a new purple, but photography and video aren't a reliable source for accurate colour references as lighting can dramatically affect how things look. So rather than share a photo of the new colours, here's a more accurate graphic for you comparing the new colours to past and present Stampin' Up! colours:

I'm super pumped about these colours, and not just because there is a purple! They look like fun colours to play with, even Emerald Envy that is similar to the Glorious Green that was around when Stampin' Up! launched in Australia 10 years ago... it's funny how you can suddenly see a colour in a whole new light. I'm really looking forward to coming up with colour combinations with these new colours once I get my hands on them properly.

2015-2017 In Colors

Hello all! I have something exciting for you today. As one of the attendees of the Stampin' Up! South Pacific Convention I was among the first people to get their hands on the 2015-2016 catalogue. While there was a lot of wonderful things happening at convention, and some awesome stuff to drool over in the catalogue, without a doubt the thing I am most interested in every year is a look at the new In Colors. While waiting for my pre-order to arrive, I like to get a good feel for how these colours might work with the other colours. One way I do that is to compare them to similar colours, and from there I get a sense of other colours they might work well with based on the colours they are most like. They say a picture speaks a thousand words, and rather than use lots and lots of words to give you an idea what the colours are like, it's much easier to show with the graphic I have come up with. So here they are, the 2015-2017 In Colors!
These will look a little different to everyone due to varying screen settings - and nothing is quite the same as holding the cardstock in your hand, but you should still get a good indication of what they will be like. What do you think will be your favourite colour? I'm going for Mint Macaron myself!
