Six Cat Morning
I've just come back from dropping the girls off at school. Along our walk we invariably pass one house with a cat outside. Often we may see three cats, sometimes the total for the day is three sightings with one cat being spotted in both the morning and the afternoon. This morning we saw 6 different cats, one white, one ginger, one "cute talkative ginger" and three black cats. After Cat Avenue (where 5 of the cats were spotted this morning) there is Bug Alley. Along Bug Alley there are ants, centipedes, slaters, spiders, slugs, worms, crickets, grasshoppers, butterflies, moths and sometimes even praying mantis and cicadas during summer. Over the whole trip there are also many birds to see... magpies, Indian and Noisy miners, rosellas, lorekeets, kookaburras, crows, currawongs, starlings, sometimes even ducks, herons, fairy wrens and a brey of prey that I now forget. I did take some photos with my phone this morning, but I'll have to come back later and add pics when the cable has been located.
