Break In Transmission

This is the current state of my craft desk:
thanks to this:
I had been giving my desk a tidy over Monday and Tuesday and had planned on creating a few more pieces for CS49 (I even unearthed another half-made banner bookmark). I had a pile of scraps to file away, but I never quite got there as the dishwasher caught fire Tuesday night. Even though the dishwasher is at the other end of the house, the soot is everwhere. Cleaners are coming in about an hour but I've no idea how long it is going to take to clean everything up, let alone put it all back etc etc. So unfortunately, no stamping for me for a while!

Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry to hear about the fire. I hope everyone is ok and that there wasn't too much damage, especially to things that can't be replaced.

I am so glad you and your family are okay...how awful! I do look forward to seeing more of your beautiful works when the clean-up has finished. :)
Take care!

Oh, what a mess! PTL it didn't become a full-fledged house fire.

Oh Carol, At first I thought you had gone crazy with the spritzing tool ... glad it was down the other end of the house and that your family is all OK. Hope that you are crafting again soon.

Crikey Carol thank goodness it wasn't a whole lot worse!
At least it is a replaceable item.

Carol, How lucky are you that there was no more damage. I've just attended our compulsory fire warden training day, which scares us every year with photos and stories like this - often not happy endings! I'm so pleased that you and all your family haven't been harmed as a result - good luck with the clean up, especially as it sounds as if you have been hit with the monster red dust storm. Love your work!, Jo
