Another quick post... net connection is still playing up so getting in while I can... and I need to get moving with breakfast!Here's a card I've made for my nephew's birthday, colours inspired by kids clothing (what a surprise!), Taken with Teal, Soft Sky, Basic Gray and Whisper White. I've used the Big Deal alphabet set to stamp the letters for his name on Whisper White, cut them out and mounted them on a plain piece of Soft Sky with a Big Pieces image behind the "d" and a clear rhinestone brad from the Pretties Kit in the centre (oooh, if only my brother knew
). The background piece of Soft Sky has been stamped with various Little Pieces images in Soft Sky, and the various feature images from Big Pieces have been stamped on Whisper White, Basic Gray and Taken With Teal in Soft Sky, Whisper White, Taken with Teal and Basic Gray inks. Drew is 8 this year and I find it tough to make cards for boys as they get older, but I was quite pleased with how this came out... no hint of "little boy" at all.
