Basic Snowflakes

Another snowflake card for another chilly morning! I actually saw frost on the lawn this morning, I've suspected we've had it a few times but I just haven't seen it till this morning. For this card I have used much the same colours as the previous snowflake one, however I decided to stamp the snowflakes randomly on Whisper White and then over the top stamp a feature snowflake in Basic Gray. I also added some nice fuzzy velvet Basic Gray ribbon from the Beachfront Ribbon Originals pack... fuzzy things are especially comforting in winter!

All supplies by Stampin' Up!

Cardstock: Basic Gray, Soft Sky, Lavender Lace, Whisper White
Stamp Sets: The Snowflake Spot, Everyday Flexible Phrases
Inks: Almost Amethyst, Soft Sky, Sage Shadow, Basic Gray, Lavender Lace
Accessories: Pewter Hodgepodge, Fairytale Ribbon Originals, Beachfront Ribbon Originals

This card made me giggle a little. I was just out side and it is 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 celsius)I totally forget how cold it is this time of year for you. Does it get you in the mood to make Christmas cards this time of year? I really like the different colored snow flakes. Very cute cards.
