For this card I combined Kristina's latest colour challenge and Keesh's latest challenge, which was a sketch. I've really enjoyed stepping up to the plate to do Keesh's challenges last year and didn't want to miss out on the first challenge for this year, so had to get this one done by midnight last night. Which I did, I just posted it to the yahoogroup then and uploading here a wee bit later. I've been dying to use this stamp from the Sale-A-Bration set "Yummy" because it's flow-y and flourish-y and well, I've been right into that this week in particular. I printed out the Top Note template from the SU! demo site and cut that out of Whisper White cardstock before stamping (SAMJ is a must of course, as is Dotto to hold the cardstock still when the SAMJ isn't holding it down). I then decided I wanted a pink layer underneath so enlarged the template slightly and printed it out again. Not perfect but I am loving the shape so much I'm willing to overlook those quirks of personality . For the background I stamped the leafy design from Finest Flourishes in VersaMark on Ruby Red so it didn't compete too much with the focal image. My last little touch is some rub-ons on the brads. It's a good idea to have a scrap of thick foam you can stick the brad into while you work otherwise it is moving all over the place and makes it very hard to actually get the rub-on on, let alone getting it on where you want it! I do kinda wish I had put the focal image on dimensionals but it's nice to mix it up every now and then (at least that is what I am telling myself!).

Great card Carol. Great use of the Yummy stamp set.
Carol, Love how you have put these colours together and that finest flourish as a background, makes me want to get out that set, you just dont see it used enough. Goes well with the flowy swirls!
