Finest Dad

This is my Dad's Father's Day card this year. When Finest Flourishes appeared in our catty I knew it was one of my "must buys", I could see a lot of cards for guys made from it and that's one thing we probably all need ideas for! I decided on the colour scheme but trying to get him back to his Victorian roots instead of the QLD rugby league rubbish he has converted to. Not that I am a Collingwood supporter, but at least they're Victorian! The card base is Sahara Sand, the Going Gray layer has been stamped with one of the Finest Flourishes images in Going Gray ink. The ribbon is from Eckersley's, and I think I've got it in every colour I've seen - it's my sort of thing! The main image has been stamped in Starlight Black Brilliance and is layered on a piece of Basic Black that went through the Cuttlebug. 'dad' has been stamped using StazOn Jet Black on Whisper White using the Typeset lowercase alpha stamps and is framed by a piece of pewter Hodge Podge. Now to write in it and send it off!
