The Sprite Spot
I took some time last week to make some cards just for the heck of it. The last time my sister visited I stamped some images of her Stampendous 'Winter Sprite' stamp, and the last few weeks it has been playing on my mind, so I finally pulled it out and did something with a couple of them. I have long thought that The Snowflake Spot by SU was a great match for the sprite, and even though the sprite was stamped on non-SU cardstock (pretty much all my non-SU cardstock was damaged by the storm water... that headache of colourmatching is pretty much over now!) I decided to go with a monochromatic colour scheme, using Cool Caribbean for the card base, with layers of Tempting Turquoise, Taken with Teal and the not-so monochromatic Whisper White. The white organdy is also from Stampin' Up!, but the brad is actually a Queen & Co one from a Winter pack that was a pretty good match for the Caribbean cardstock. The sprite was stamped with Brilliance Pearlescent Jade, all other stamping is either Tempting Turquoise, Taken with Teal or Not Quite Navy.

Absolutely beautiful card Carol :) I really like that mono colour scheme. That main image is beautiful as well :)
