Todays card uses the retiring set "All The Best". The first step in making this card was to ink the asterisk stamp with Very Vanilla craft ink, stamp it repeatedly on vellum and set it aside to dry. The flower was inked with Creamy Caramel, the stem inked with the Always Artichoke marker, and the flower center has been dabbed with a dauber inked with Ruby Red. This is layered on Basic Black and the little 'thanks' has been attached with an Artichoke brad. The vellum piece was then torn and attached under the main image and the ribbon (from the Rustic Retreat Ribbon Originals collection) tied around the card front.

More Father's Day cards
This card was for the girls to give to Glenn. It was for a challenge from the Elite stampers cyberstamp, a male card using patterened paper, mine has also ended up being a CASE of a card by Leigh O'Brien. I stamped the letters in Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron and Tempting Turquoise on Whisper White and layered on matching cardstock. The card base has a piece of Part Pieces patterned paper, the letters on top (some on dimensionals), and the stars from On Board Accents are sponged with Barely Banana, Apricot Appeal and Certainly Celery, then stamped with the asterisk from All The Best in Saffron, Pumpkin and Olive and attached to the card front.
This was for another elite cyberstamp challenge, a CASE of a card from page 5 of our Spring Mini catalogue. I used the Letterpress alphabet, stamped it on Creamy Caramel using Buckaroo Blue ink. The Buckaroo Blue card base has been stamped with the Linen background using VersaMark, with the sentiment from All Year Cheer I stamped with Buckaroo Blue ink. The More Mustard layer has the Print Pattern background stamped in VersaMark, then it was scrunched up a few times, swiped across the More Mustard stamp pad, torn, wrapped with natural hemp twine and attached to the card front. I attached the Caramel layer with a couple of dimensionals and used a couple of Antique Brass HodgePodge pieces to finish it off.

Getting 'buggy with it
My first Cuttlebug card:
I thought the full 'Petal Prints' daisy was a good match for the flowers on the Stylised Flower embossing folder. Both the daisy and the sentiment (from the "All the Best" set) were inked with Cameo Coral and Ruby Red markers. The daisy was stamped on some cream cardstock that was in my scraps drawer (which I first used for the embossed background), the sentiment stamped on Creamy Caramel. I mounted the daisy onto some Ruby Red, then mounted that onto the Creamy Caramel using some double-sided foam tape. All this is layered on Cameo Coral and then onto the embossed background, which is mounted on a Ruby Red base card. Down the bottom I added three buttons from the Earth Elements/Neutrals button collection, attached to the card using mini glue dots.

Thanks x 3
On Thursday night there was a Cyberstamp Night on my up-uplines' demonstrator forums (Angela Sargeant). Challenge 1 was a colour challenge - Bravo Burgundy, Ruby Rose and More Mustard. Ruby Rose is my least favourite red, I haven't had a lot to do with Bravo Burgundy, but I am fine with More Mustard. Anyway, I pulled up my swatches, and immediately thought "Autumn leaves", so went reaching for my "All the Best" set. I had already had a few late nights, so I kept it simple to lessen the chances of me stuffing up. This is what I came up with:
I used the Bravo Burgundy marker on the stamp and huffed on it before stamping on Very Vanilla cardstock. Must say that these came out better than when I tried this with Tombows or Marvy's. Maybe after my disappointment with previous efforts I put more oomph into my huff... I then used the 1 1/4" square punch to punch them out, and the 1 3/8" square punch on Bravo Burgundy cardstock to layer them on. Layered them all on some Ruby Red (which I grew to like... it's just not as yummy to me as Rose Red), and mounted it on the More Mustard card base. Tied some burgundy grossgrain with a bit of twine to finish it off.
