I set myself a challenge the other day - to stamp an image with StazOn and watercolour it. This was the result:
Piggies stamped with black StazOn and coloured with Twinkling H2O's and a waterpen/aqua painter on what I think was Nopa cardstock - it was the first bit of white large enough in my scrap pile, and I could tell it wasn't Stampin' Up! Whisper White. Stamped the Hero Arts Playful alpha stamps with StazOn on more of the scrap cardstock, though they aren't quite so crisp - I think it is because the stamps are so small it's hard to keep them steady. That or it was the off day I was having. Trimmed white layers and attached them to some darker blue layers (cardstock was all unknown stuff out of my stash), then attached to the lighter blue layer. Found some pink brads that co-ordinated nicely with the colours I used on the piggies, so I added them to the "Happy Birthday" pieces, then mounted it all to the card front. I have a few "Happy Birthday" stamps I could have used on the front, but inside I wanted to stamp something about being 21... again.
I had only used StazOn for stamping on metallic cardstock and acetate before, and was hessitant to use it because it was such a pain to clean off. But since discovering that the Stampin' Up! cleaning works for StazOn too, it is much more user friendly, and produces a much crisper and permenant image than any other ink I had tried for watercolouring.
